ποιοῦ σεαυτῆς, a somewhat rare phrase. Her. 1.129 “ἑωυτοῦ ποιέεται τὸ Κύρου ἔργον”. [Plat. ] Plat. Hipp. min. 372C “ἐμαυτοῦ ποιούμενος τὸ μάθημα εἶναι ὡς εὕρημα”. Dem. or. 19 § 36 “εἰς αὑτὸν ποιούμενος ῾τακινγ ον ηιμσελφ̓ τὰ τούτων ἁμαρτήματα”. In Thuc. 8.9 “ἑαυτοῦ...τὸν στόλον ἴδιον ποιήσασθαι”, the gen. goes with the adj. ἀρκέσω in the pers. constr., cp. Ai. 76 “ἔνδον ἀρκείτω μένων”, and O. T. 1061 n.
