For “ζῆν, ζών” has been proposed: but the Epic and Ionic “ζώς” does not occur in τοῦτον after the plur. as, conversely, “ὅστις” is followed by “οὗτοι” (709 n.), and “νέκυν” by “ὧν” (1072). ἔμψ. νεκρόν: cp. Ph. 1018“ἄφιλον, ἔρημον, ἄπολιν, ἐν ζῶσιν νεκρόν”.
