λασιαύχενά θ᾽. The elision at the end of the verse (“ἐπισυναλοιφή”) is comparatively rare in lyrics, as in dialogue (1031); but cp. 595 “πίπτοντ᾽”, 864 “αὐτογέννητ᾽”.
