[7] alii gaudere palam] alii ist proleptisch gebraucht in Beziehung auf § 8: legati, = ‘die übrigen zwar . ., die Legaten aber’; s. 27.2; 1.1.1. 57, 2; 24, 45, 2; 42, 44, 1 u. a.; aber statt einfach legati, qui circa . . erant, . . adprobabant zu sagen, hat L. das, was untergeordneter Satz sein sollte, zum Hauptsatz gemacht und das Hauptverbum in das Particip verwandelt, um Nasica mehr hervortreten zu lassen; Mg. nimmt den Ausfall eines Satzgliedes an und schreibt: alii non moleste ferre, alii gaudere; dafür Wfsb.: alii taciti probare, alii . . nach 24.1.8.
