δικαίως, in a full and true sense: cp. O. T. 852“οὔτοι ποτ̓, ὦναξ, τόν γε Λαΐου φόνον ι φανεῖ δικαίως ὀρθόν”, i.e. ‘properly fulfilled.’ τὰ πατρόθεν is re dundant, but not pointless; the qualities derived from the father will prevail over any weaker qualities derived “μητρόθεν”.
