κακοὺς κακῶς: 1177 n.— τὸν ἄνδρα. It seems needless to write “τόνδ̓”, since a reference to Ajax has just preceded (v. 1388 “αὐτόν”). λώβαις, a modal dat. like “φοναῖς” in Ant. 1003.
