νομίζω δ᾽ ἔγωγε ἐπὶ τῆσδε τῆς ὥρας καὶ τὸν πατέρα
τὸν ἐμὸν κρίνεσθαι κἀμὲ καὶ ὑμᾶς, εἰ τῶν μὲν προκατωρθωμένων
ἄξιος ἐκεῖνος, ἐγὼ δ᾽ ἐκείνου παῖς, στρατιῶται δ᾽ ὑμεῖς ἐμοῦ: καὶ
γὰρ ἐκείνῳ τὸ νικᾶν ἔθος, κἀγὼ πρὸς αὐτὸν ὑποστρέφειν οὐκ ἂν
ὑπομείναιμι λειφθείς.
