[4] ἐκέλευσεν ἡ Πλαγγὼν τὸν ἐπὶ ταῖς θύραις εἰσαγγεῖλαι πρὸς τὸν δεσπότην ὅτι Καλλιρρόη πάρεστιν. Ἐτύγχανε δὲ Διονύσιος ἐρριμμένος ὑπὸ λύπης, ἐτετήκει δὲ αὐτῷ καὶ τὸ σῶμα. Ἀκούσας οὖν ὅτι Καλλιρρόη πάρεστιν, ἄφωνος ἐγένετο, καί τις ἀχλὺς αὐτοῦ κατεχύθη πρὸς τὸ ἀνέλπιστον, μόλις δὲ ἀνενεγκὼν ‘ἡκέτω’ φησί.
