Hon. Alex. H. Stephens, Vice-President of the Southern Confederacy, arrived in Richmond at 4 o'clock yesterday morning, and is stopping at the Exchange Hotel. During the day he had several conferences with the Governor, on the subject of his mission here, which is in respect to the prospect of Virginia's becoming a member of the Southern Confederacy.
