τἄλλα κ.τ.λ. The order is ἐνθυμουμένους πάντα τἄλλα ἃ προσήκει (ἐνθυμεῖσθαι). ἐθελῆσαι. Note the tense, “rouse your spirit.” So παροξυνθῆναι. προσέχειν, sc. τὸν νοῦν. εἴπερ ποτέ, καὶ νῦν=νῦν, εἴπερ ποτέ. εἰσφέροντας. It must be remembered that the εἰσφορά was not a regular tax, but a highly unpopular war tax to which recourse was rarely had. λόγος, “reason.”
