ξυγγράφων οὐκ ἀπεκρύπτετο. ἐμοὶ δὲ θαυμαστὸν
εἶναι δοκεῖ, εἰ τοὺς ἄνδρας μὲν τοὺς καλούς τε
κἀγαθοὺς προθύμως ἐπαινεσόμεθα, γυναῖκα δὲ
ἀγαθὴν τῆς εὐφημίας οὐκ ἀξιώσομεν, ἀρετῆς οὐδὲν
μεῖον αὐταῖς ἤπερ τοῖς ἀνδράσι προσήκειν ὑπολαμβάνοντες.
