The number of Fort Donelson prisoners.

The Chicago Tribune, of the 25th ult., says:

‘ "The number of prisoners already arrived have been variously estimated. We have conversed with the officers at Camp Douglas, and think that there cannot be more than six thousand. The regiments, with two exceptions, are all of small numbers; numbers were killed, and others escaped, so that there has been an over-estimate. About 6,000 is the actual number of prisoners now in camp."
