--Allen, slave of Richard Whitfield, was brought before the Mayor yesterday for declaring that Jeff. Davis was a rebel, and that no white man should be his master. The case was laid over until the 8th inst. The contumacious colored brother will suffer on his back for the bad conduct of his tongue.
