As the dates show, he was less than eighteen years old at his first marriage; and from this time until a few months previous to his death, children were born to him abundantly,--ten by the first wife, and ten by the third; of which number, seventeen survived him; and, though he died at the age of 62 years, he had then 46 living grandchildren.
