Police Items.

Mayor disposed of the following budget yesterday:

James McCormack, stealing $500 worth of beef and bacon from some person unknown.
McCormack was at "Mechanics' Home," when a wagon drove up with the meat.
The proprietor of the house being absent, he aided the driver in lifting out the barrels, at his request.
He was discharged.

James Sharp, for abusive language to
John J. Morris, was held to ball.
Michael O'Donald, beating a negro without cause, was bound over.
Wm. C. Hebener, for assaulting and heating with a hatchet
Adolph Butel, is to have another hearing.
Margaret Small, for threatening violence to
Joannah O'Brien, was reprimanded and then discharged.
