Bandages.

--A very large quantity of cotton cloth is used in dressing the wounds of our soldiers. None is so well adapted to the purpose as that which has been made soft and pliant by use. Every family has some cast-off garments which might be torn into bandages and used for the dressing of wounds. We recommend that all such superfluous cotton cloth be immediately sent to the various hospitals for the purpose indicated, with the assurance that all such contributions will be most thankfully received.
