Send in your Negroes.

--The Provost Marshal has had occasion again to call on the owners of negroes to come forward and tender their services in behalf of the Confederacy. The number heretofore offered has not proved sufficient for the requirements of the times. Let slave owners attend to this matter, and save the Provost Marshal the disagreeable necessity of an indiscriminate impressment. In such times as these the convenience of the individual must give place to considerations of public good. There are plenty of negroes in Richmond now idle, who might be advantageously used in aiding the Government in the great struggle which it is now waging with the agents of an unscrupulous despotism.
