Episcopal Sunday School anniversary.

--The 36th anniversary of the Protestant Episcopal Sunday School Union was celebrated on Sunday last at the Monumental Church with an unusual degree of animation and spirit. The Schools met at the different Churches, and repaired to the place of meeting in a body. After an anthem by the choir, Rev. F. M. Baker offered an impressive invocation to the Throne of Grace, which was followed by reading of a portion of the Divine Word by Rev. Samuel Gatewood. Hymns were sung in excellent time and style by the elder and junior scholars, both separate and together. Addresses were delivered by Revs. Messrs. Peterkin, Woodbridge, and Dashiel. The closing prayer and benediction were pronounced by Rev. H. S. Kepler.
