Committed to Castle Thunder.

--The following parties were committed to Castle Thunder yesterday, by order of Major Thomas W. Doswell, assistant provost-marshal:

J. W. Bryan, company D, First Virginia cavalry, charged with attempting to go to the enemy; J. H. Hester, member of company B, Thirteenth North Carolina, charged with selling soldiers' clothing, and Daniel Smith, charged with aiding negroes to escape to the enemy. Also, John A. Newton, company F, Thirty-fourth North Carolina regiment, charged with forging furloughs and having in his possession blank forms. Newton was well provided with every kind of soldiers' blank forms, in the largest profusion, ready to put a party in the ranks or dispose of him in any manner after he should get there.
