Runaway--$300 reward.

--For the apprehension of my boy John, who was carried off by a member of the 5th Florida regiment, then commanded by Col Hathly, or Lt-Col Lamar. The boy left the regiment at the second battle of Manassas. He is of dark brown color, medium size, has bad upper tooth, hangs his head down when spoken to or in motion, about 22 years of age. I suppose him to be still in the army in Virginia. The boy was raised about Charleston, S. C, and was hired before the war to a vessel running to Massas. I will give the above reward for him if caught and placed whose I can get him, or $150 for information leading to his capture.
