Murfreesboro, Jan. 3.

--All is quiet along the lines to-day. Cold rain has been falling, with alight intermission, all day, which bears heavily upon our men, who have now been six days in line of battle.

The enemy, in strong force, continue in position about three miles northwest of the town.

Nashville has been reinforced.

Brig. Gen. Hanson was severely wounded in the leg in the late battle.
