Lint.

--The Boston Medical and Surgical Journal publishes an article stating that lint is of but little use in surgery, and recommending that the ladies discontinue their lint-picking operations, and go to work making bandages and articles of clothing for hospital humates, as the means of doing much more good. The application of lint to wounds is said to be one of the exploded practices of old science.
