Organized in Delaware at large October 25 to November 26, 1862.

Duty in Delaware and as garrison at Fort Delaware, and guard duty on line of the Philadelphia, Wilmington & Baltimore R. R. from Perryville to Baltimore, till August, 1863.

Attached to District of Delaware, 8th Army Corps, Middle Dept., to July, 1863.

2nd Separate Brigade, 8th Army Corps, Middle Dept., to August.

Mustered out August 12, 1863.
