the storm — communication with the enemy — Yankees Finances--Louisiana troops, &c., &c.
[our own correspondent.] Norfolk, January 27, 1862.
The heavy storm which for nearly two weeks has raged upon our coast left rnier resort, since all other projects have failed.
Yesterday, the 26th, being the anniversary of the secession of Louisiana, it was celebrated by the citizens of that State now in this department.

The beds were neatly made up and had a plenty of warm and cleanly looking blankets, furnished, I was told, by the State of Louisiana in every house there was a table, several constructed cupboards, board chairs, rocking chairs, sofas, ottomans, a im, and judge for themselves.

P. S.--Since writing the above I have seen by the record that the date of the secession of Louisiana was the 21st.
I presume, then, the celebration was deferred a week on account of the storm. B
