Dead body found. --The dead body of a man, we learn, was found in the canal, last night, near the Basin. Upon his person was found a key belonging to the Spotswood Hotel, room No. 74. The gentleman occupying this room is from Memphis, Tenn., but we forbear mentioning his name lest the circumstances might lead us into error.
