Of the amount collected at Lynchburg, the Baptist Church gave, through Rev John L Johnson, as a part of a thanks-offering fund $100.
At Petersburg the 1st Baptist Church gave $614,00, the 21 do, $01,6; the S C Hospital, (Surgeons, Wardmasters and soldiers) $83.85; the Confederate do, $75,75 of which the excellent Steward.
Mr. Joseph Todd, gave $10; the General do, $80.95; the 1st and 2d $27, 75; young ladies of Ches.
Female College, (collected since the last session.) through Rev Thos Hume, jr, $20, and citizens generally he balance.
