--A meeting of the Presidents of the Banks of this city was held yesterday, to consider the action of the Committee of Directors on Saturday.
We are informed that the Presidents have decided to receive and pay out the notes of all the solvent Banks in the State, except the Bank of Winchester, the Bank of the Old Dominion, at Pearisburg, the Bank of Phillippi, the Bank of Fairmont, the Bank of Berkeley, the Banks of Wheeling and their branches, and the Bank of the Valley and branches, not including the Bank at Staunton and the Bank at Christiansburg.

North Carolina Bank Notes are nominally quoted at 5 per cent, discount, with little or no sale.
The Planters' and Miners' Bank at Murphy. N. G., is quoted at 20 per ct, discount.
South Carolina Bank Notes are quoted at 10 per cent. discount; but there are hardly any afloat.
New York Exchange is still 8 per cent. premium; Philadelphia and Baltimore 2 ½@3 percent.
Gold 8@10 per cent. prem.
