Tennessee. --We have had but few additional particulars of interest concerning the audacious raid of the enemy in East Tennessee, to these given yesterday. It is stated by passengers yesterday from the West that the force of the enemy is supposed to be exaggerated, as they are now believed to number only some 1,500 or 2,000 men. There are three regiments, one from each of the States of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. The Lynchburg Republican says: Near the bridge across the Holstein river an engine, belonging to the East Tennessee railroad, was found on a slung, which was run into the river and badly damaged. At dark Wednesday night, the Yankees were encamped at Mountsville, about ten miles from Bristol, and our forces had left the latter place to engage there. They are said to have made a forced march of five days from Kentucky, and their horses are so much jaded as to be nearly for service.
