Virginia Legislature.[Extra session.] Senate. Wednesday, December 14, 1864. The Senate was called to order at 12 o'clock. Prayer by Rev. Dr. Peterkin, of St. James's (Episcopal) Church. Messrs. Hunter, Logan, Frayser, Armstrong, Neeson, Lynch and Bruce were appointed the joint committee on salt. Resolutions of inquiry were read and passed inquiring into the expediency of placing at the disposal of the Governor a fund of--thousand dollars, to be expended in the procurement tion inviting him to a privileged seat in the Hall.
