In the case of Henry Flowers, for misdemeanor, a rule was awarded against Michael Fleming, a recusant witness, returnable forthwith. Oliver Crosmore, indicted for misdemeanor, gave $200 bail for his appearance at the next term, with R. M. Lowry as bailsman; in a similar case, Jno. McDonough gave $150 bail for his appearance — Peter McCabe, security. The Grand Jury (save Wm. S. Donnan,) appeared, and being sent out of Court, returned with a presentment against Oliver Crosmore for permitting an unlawful assembly of slaves, and having no further business, were then discharged. On the petition of Wm. Cavenagh and Jas. McCorson, the Court remits the term of 30 days imprisonment imposed on them, and adjudged that they be discharged on payment of fine and costs. Wm. M.
