Man Stabled. --Yesterday afternoon, three men were proceeding down 17th street from Broad, Townville Math, and, when reaching the market, one of them felt to the pavement, and it was observed that he was badly cut on his head and stabbed in his throat. His companions were at once arrested and taken into the station house, and the wounded man stated that he had been stabbed by one of them. He gave his name as Daniel Sullivan, and he appeared to belong to some military company. The persons under arrest are named Daniel Workman and Cornelius Collins, one claiming to be a member of Capt. Bruce's company, of Halifax and the other an ex-member of company I, 1st Virginia Regiment. They will be arraigned before the Mayor for examination this morning. Sullivan was taken to a hospital.

g frigate Santee: Last Friday morning, the 29th inst., the Confederate schooner Purdy, Capt. Collins, while lying at the mouth of Belle Isle bayou, was suddenly boarded by eight Lincolnites froeach. They also had a 3-pounder aboard ready for action. The Purdy had on board three men, Capt. Collins, John Denniston and M. B. Gordy, and a small boy. Collins cocked his gun, and stated that he doubted whether he would accede to the demand, all the Liuns were promptly leveled upon him and his companions preparatory to enforcing the request. Capt. The stabbing affair. --Daniel Workman and Cornelius Collins, who were arrested on Friday afternoon upon a charge of stabbing Daniel Sullivan, were arraigned before the Mayor on Saturday. Captain Wilkinson stated that Sullivan pointed out Workman at the station house as the man who stabbed him, but no other evidence was then in court. Sullivan had been carried to the poor-house hospital, and it was stated that his injuries were not dangerous.
