--Patrick Brannan, Susan Tibbs, and David O'Neal, the nationality of whom it was hard to decide on, had rendered themselves Edward Vick occupying a house with the parties accused.

A large number of witnesses examined for the defence, sfactory air, and intimated that such a document was sufficient to all the charges made, and establish the reputation of her friends, the accused as persons of the highest respectability.
To her great chagrin, however, the Recorder refused to manifest any interest in her, passport, and decided that Brannan and O'Neil should both be bound over in the sum of $300, and serve a term in the chain-gang of sixty days. Mrs. Tibbs was let off with an admonition to reform her conduct for the future.
