ἐξ ἀνάγκης οὖν ἦν μοι παραλαβεῖν, ἐπεὶ ἐν τῷ πρόσθε χρόνῳ πολλὰς τριηραρχίας τετριηραρχηκὼς ὑμῖν οὐδεπώποτε ἔλαβον σκεύη ἐκ τοῦ νεωρίου, ἀλλ᾽ αὐτὸς ἰδίᾳ παρεσκεύαζον, ὁπότε δέοι, ἵνα ὡς ἐλάχιστα πράγματα ἔχοιμι πρὸς τὴν πόλιν: τότε δὲ κατά τε τὰ ψηφίσματα καὶ τὸν νόμον ἠναγκαζόμην παραλαμβάνειν.
